UK Plant-based Professionals and Dr. Leila Dehghan hosted a very interesting online conversation on “How to Eat for Optimal Health” on the 14th of November 2020 where as a Clinical Dietitian/Nutritionist and vegan herself, Despina Marselou was a member of an exceptional panel of nutritionists and dietitians, along with Lisa Simon, Elena Holmes and Stephanie Dominguez. The discussion focused on the food groups we must emphasize on for a better immune system and health, supplements we might need, superfoods that may help and how to improve our gut microbiome and its balance in the most natural way.
The dietitians covered these important issues and helped participants answer a lot of questions on health and immunity matters, which are even more important during the current course of the Covid-19 pandemic, in one of the biggest and most popular vegan events in Europe.
