Quick to make and endlessly versatile, they’re perfect as a snack, a little pick-me-up, or a homemade gift for someone special.

Ingredients (makes about 15–20 truffles)
1 cup pitted dates
1/2 cup walnuts
1/4 cup almonds
2 tbsp cocoa powder
1 tsp cinnamon
2–3 tbsp tahini (for a creamy texture)
1 tbsp water or orange juice, if needed
Optional coatings: shredded coconut, cocoa powder, or sesame seeds

Instructions
Place the dates in a blender or food processor and pulse until they form a paste. If the dates are very firm or dry, soaking them first will make it easier to blend into a smooth paste.

Add the walnuts, almonds, cocoa, cinnamon, and tahini. Blend until everything is well combined and the mixture is moldable. If the dough feels too stiff, add a little water or orange juice.

Roll the mixture into small balls with your hands. Pour your choice of coating onto a plate and roll the truffles until evenly coated. You can also use shredded coconut, cocoa powder or sesame seeds for variety.

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for 5–7 days.

Tips / Variations: You can substitute tahini with peanut butter or avocado. Use 2–3 tbsp of peanut butter, like you would tahini. For avocado, use 1/4–1/2 of a medium avocado, depending on the dough’s moisture.
