Almond chocolates

You know the feeling when you crave for something sweet and… sinful, but don’t want to succumb that easily to fatty desserts that make you feel full and guilty afterwards, with tons of sugar and fat? I’m sure you do.

For those difficult times, try this super easy, 3-ingredient recipe: dark chocolate with coconut oil and chopped almonds. Trust me, you’ll feel the same amount of satisfaction, without the guilt and the super-fats.

To make it, you’ll need dark chocolate 75-90% cocoa (do your best for a good quality, fair trade chocolate with the highest percentage), 1 tsp coconut oil and 10 raw almonds. Cut your chocolate in small pieces put it in a bowl and place the bowl over a pan with boiling water (bain marie). Pour your coconut oil and let it melt, while stirring. When it’s melted, throw your almonds and mix.

Line a parchment paper on a pan and spoon mounds on it. When done, put the pan in the refrigerator until hardened for at least 30 minutes.

Enjoy!
